Ichthya is proud to be able to introduce herself as Nemo's mate. She is the only one who understands and sympathizes with his fear of water, helping him to relax within the substance he calls home whenever she can. She protects him from the world when necessary, ensuring that his friends and neighbors will never learn of his fear of water.

Ichthya herself enjoys swimming, and will swim for fun at every opportunity. She loves hunting for new water environments and exploring shipwrecks. She has been known to save sailors upon occasion, although no one believes their story afterwards. She takes great pleasure in knowing that no one believes she exists, as well, as this always seems to add more fun to the adventure.

She loves her life and everyone in it, but especially Nemo. One of these days she is certain that the two of them will be able to live a life free from paranoia and protection, and she is content to protect her Love from everything until then.
